dental infection

I have a recurring dental infection probably from a root canal. I will likely be prescribed an antibiotic. Three that have been mentioned are amoxicillin, clindamycin and ciproflaxin.

I know antibiotics have been discussed here but can’t find those threads. Can anyone direct me to them, or comment on these three?

For most people amox is the best choice, the least likely to cause serious problems.

I know Cipro doesn't interact good with PD meds.

my husband just had a root canal and took amoxicillin.check with your doctor about using probiotics when you are done to replenish the good bacteria in your gut.

Antibiotics can sometimes cause other problems. Some people, for example, can have tendon rupture after taking Cipro. If you take an antibiotic, make sure you also take a probiotic. Lastly try to see a holistic dentist for ozone injections to kill any bacteria.
