So... there is a lot of experimenting going on with Broccoli Sprouts. I have been eating 2 cups of sprouts (3/4 Broccoli, 1/4 Radish) for quite a while. I was eating them with some oil and vinegar dressing.
But the other day my wife made Chili, so I put two huge scoops of chili on my 2 cups of sprouts. It was great! Heating sprouts to 60 degrees Celsius should release more Sulforaphane. I'm sure I am not getting the sprouts, or at least not getting most of them, to 60 degrees.
I really should not eat chili, so I switched it up to having a meatball microwaved in a bowl with a lot of grease and meat juice from when I baked the meatball. Nuked it for 3 minutes on high, broke it up, and poured it over my bowl of sprouts. So I am adding a little heat, which may be good, and having a great meal.
This makes sense to me, but I am a High School Graduate, prone to error, and I have poor impulse control.
