FMT, although it has shown significant efficacy in two small PwP / FMT preliminary trials, is not approved for PD and it seems as though the only studies regarding FMT and PD are only coming out of China with apparently no interest from the US or any other countries, it would appear, despite previous reports that there were studies in other countries in progress for PD. Unfortunately those reports have never been confirmed.

I reported on the two small studies from China a year ago, but there have been no reports on completion of any other studies from elsewhere that I am aware of.

Based on the apparent lack of interest from other countries in doing FMT/PwP studies, it would seem the only likely way to have FMT for a PwP within the next 10 years is to use a private company that might offer FMT for other than C-Diff.

This article states that there's no evidence regarding benefits of one method of FMT over the other. In fact the Chinese study published last year showed that FMT done with colonoscopy was very effective while the one done with the nasal tube was not.
