Has anyone taken Entacapone 200mg 3 times a day

I was taking it to extend my "on" time and help dyskinesia, but it made my dyskinesia worse. It helped extend the on time a little bit it wasn't worth the extra dyskinesia. I got off it and started Gocovri which is helping.

Ok thank you thats what my Dr gave it to me for but so far I ain't seen no difference but I had just taking two of them

I used to take Comtan (entacapone 200mg) 4 times a day with my Madopar 250mg ( 200mg levadopa)

It’s very effective- I had to titrate down about 20% of my Madopar to 200mg because it felt the levadopa was enhanced and I could take less

The ‘On’ periods certainly last longer

I had tried Ongentys - a newer variation of entacapone. Dosing is 1 tablet at bedtime - 1 hour after the last levadopa

Despite many people finding it helpful - I reverted back to entacapone and have been in it for 4 months The quality of On time is much better

Just sharing my experiences- hope it helps
