Entacapone causes diarrhea?
I’ve been taking
Entacapone
for exactly three months because of wearing off times about 45 minutes prior to next Sinemet dose. It has provided a modest improvement in my overall functioning. I’ve been taking it three times per day with 25/100 c/l.

Stalevo and incontinence.
Entacapone
introduced in February. Transferred to Stalevo over a period of four weeks, been on "all Stalevo" for about 5 days. Which, coincidentally (or perhaps not) is the same length of time I've been getting a tingling sensation confined to the tip of my penis (sorry ladies).

Has anyone ever take the med ENTACACPONE?
My Neuro Doctor prescribed
ENTACAPONE

Enta- and opicapone experience
Has anybody tried both
Entacapone
and Opicapone, and which one do you prefer and why? Thank you in advance for the patience to read the above and for any comments you might have.

Anyone experience a wearing off cough/shortness of breath?
He is off to the Dr this week and will ask to trial
entacapone
to see if it smooths things out and he can space the dose timing out more and reduce the dose.

Amantadine questions
I'm on carbidopa/levodopa,
entacapone
and amantadine (100 mg 3x/day). Do you find it causes swelling in the feet, lower legs and hands? If you came off the drug, what was the upside and the downside? How did you come off of it? I understand that you can't quit it abruptly. Thanks for reponses

END GAME We may be alone
I now take a pile of CD/LD every 3 hours, but it lasts 2-1/2 hours but I have been taking a new prescription of
Entacapone
( 5 x 200 mg per day ) which does extend the time however it seems to cause me to see things that clearly are not there ( looking up the name ).

Time to try some extended release?
Two months ago I stopped taking
Entacapone
, and again, I couldn’t tell any difference. I ran into opicapone, a.k.a. Ongentys, and it seemed to sound like a better option than
Entacapone
, so I ordered a three month supply of it.

Why Won't My Neurologist Listen (Explanation)
It is not known if treatment with
entacapone
affects the risk of having prostate cancer. Therefore, it is important for men to have their regular prostate examinations during treatment with

I have been offered Entacapone. I would appreciate hearing your own thoughts and experiences.
I am doing pretty well 7 years post dx, but my neurologist wants to add
Entacapone
to my 4x Levodopa per day regime to shorten my downtime, and I am uncertain whether it’s the way I want to go.

Rytary switching, tips from your success?
I decided against
entacapone
because I already take a few meds that are mildly anticholinergic and I don't want to add to that list. I'd like to hear from those who have successfully switched to Rytary, what to expect from the transition? Any tips?

COMT inhibitors
Hubby is doing really well at the moment and I think one of the things that has helped has been the introduction of 1/2 a
entacapone
tablet taken at the same time as his madopar/ mucuna doses.

Lots of OFF and Food interference
I've been offered to consider
Entacapone
, Neupro patch, Apomorphine sublingual, Rytary. All have pros and cons. I don't want to add to anticholinergic load, so as I understand, that leaves either adding Neupro low dose, or switching to Rytary.
