As an aside, this site appears to have been set up by the company that Hidden concluded (after some impressive sleuthing) was founded and/or run by former HUCP member 'DHPSR', who was quite the Ambroxol-for-PD enthusiast.

Ah that is good to know. It is always a bit of a concern buying this sort of thing knowing if it is a scam. I bought my first batch off Amazon and the flier for this was in the box so it is the same stuff.

I have no doubt he was a PwP. And I believe you will probably get what it is you have ordered. I never got the impression they weren't legit, just that he may have been a bit opaque around his commercial interests when he was on here being very positive about ambroxol.

If you have formed the view that ambroxol is a worthwhile thing to buy without his influence or the influence of those influenced by him, I don't suppose it matters that he wasn't super transparent..

Where did he go? What came first I wonder, the company or the enthusiasm?

CaseyInsights profile image
CaseyInsights in reply toLAJ12345

I will bet the company. He was always on my radar 🧐

LAJ12345 profile image
LAJ12345 in reply toCaseyInsights

Interesting. He seems to be gone off here now.

CaseyInsights profile image
CaseyInsights in reply toLAJ12345

Indeed, he is off. And while here he was also drumming up business on other segments of HU.

We did have a little tangle on his fist few post. Since then I followed him closely.

I came to understand that he did appreciate the benefits of Ambroxol, but I never believed - and I could be quite wrong here - he had Parkinson.

Gifts sometimes come in strange packets 🕊

I am not sure that Ambroxol is such an amazing commercial opportunity at this stage. There are easier ways to make money. I wish him good luck, especially if he is a PwP. Some of us need to work as this disease is destroying our lives, sometimes before we were able to save for retiring.

I see on his webpage he is suggesting it might be a good thing for Covid too which kind of makes sense if it helps clear airways. I don’t know that he has the research to back it though so he might be skating on thin ice🤣

Hi LAJ12345, you posted four months ago informing us that your husband was getting better. Are the improvements continuing (I hope so)? Do you think the credit goes to Ambroxol? Thanks

LAJ12345 profile image
LAJ12345 in reply toFed1000

I am not sure. He started a few new things at once and there are too many variables to pin it down.

He has had a bit of a relapse over Christmas. I think it was all too much for him with people plus our teenage son being his usual stressful self. Still trying to get to the bottom of it. Possibly a change of brand of one of the products, the glutathione where I had gone back to the old one. He’s slowly coming right again.

I’m will do another update soon.

Here is what I get trying to find out the price, etc :

It seems we can't find what you're looking for.

Hope the product works better than the webpage..

You have to sign up then go under monthly subscriptions for the price which is in usd. I ordered the 300 tablets per month but you can get more. He said you can cancel at any time so if it is more than you want then I guess you can stop your order after you have a supply. It has been out of stock on Amazon. I bought my first lot off Amazon and there was a flier for these in the box so it is the same supplier.

I order mine from Amazon.com.de (Germany).

I've been ordering just 1 off 300 tablet pack either from Amazon or findambroxol.com (whoever had stock) but then, just before Christmas, neither had stock, so I contacted findambroxol.com and signed up to the subscription service (600 tablets per month). Just had the one delivery from them so far but it is the same company who supplies Amazon for sure.

Are you finding Ambroxol is helping with symptoms? It’s a lot of tablets to take.

glenandgerry profile image
glenandgerry in reply toZella23

I thought so initially, especially with brain fog, although it doesn't help with anxiety - that has become much worse. I guess we have to expect this kind of deterioration 17 years after diagnosis . Over Christmas though, Glen's diet was so bad that he wasn't doing at all well. We just discovered yesterday that he has a UTI so has really gone downhill.

LAJ12345 profile image
LAJ12345 in reply toglenandgerry

How many does he take a day?

glenandgerry profile image
glenandgerry in reply toLAJ12345

He takes 10 in the morning and 10 in the afternoon. That was the minimum dose used in the trial being run by Dr Shapiro

LAJ12345 profile image
LAJ12345 in reply toglenandgerry

I’ve just been giving him 2 x2 a day so much less as he always overreacts to any medication and his genetic test says he processes pharmaceuticals through his liver very slowly. You don’t think Glen might have a build up? I find hubby gets anxious when something has built up too much.

glenandgerry profile image
glenandgerry in reply toLAJ12345

I guess that could be the case, I was just trying to replicate the trial's minimum dose. Maybe I'll reduce it and see how it goes.

LAJ12345 profile image
LAJ12345 in reply toglenandgerry

Maybe just skip a day then decrease by 1 morning and night for a while and see if it makes a difference. I think there is something in dr constanti’s method with thiamine. I think things can tick away well for a while then suddenly get too much but not sure if that applies to ambroxol or not.

glenandgerry profile image
glenandgerry in reply toLAJ12345

I guess that maybe the case, thanks LAJ, as he's been on Ambroxol for 10 months

So sorry to hear that although I suppose no one knows what to expect after 17 years. UTI s give awful symptoms from my observation of my father and of John they can make behaviour different but they’re difficult to recognise as such. I do hope he feels better soon. PD symptoms are not easy at the best of times but when you get something else it seems to make them worse.

Try D-mannose supplement for the UTI. I was getting reoccurring UTIs every two months or so. I was told about D-mannose and since I've been taking it (months now!) - no more UTIs. Apparently it "eats" whatever bacteria is causing the UTI. I don't have PD so not sure if other things might be involved.

Your profile says you have PD. Has something changed? Have you had any side effects from the d-mannose? My mom suffers from frequent UTIs.

Sorry just saw this. The profile is for my 75 year old husband who has PD. I do all the reading and research for him. I’m actually “slimweiss”. He has a hard time typing so I’m his fingers!
