Is anyone using ambroxol? I saw that 3 years ago people were trying it. Is anyone today using it? How has it gone for those using it?

I've been wondering about this and several other methods people have been using, such as cinnamon, curcumin, micro dosing magic mushroom or iboga, biomodulation, and other various remedies that have come up in years past.

Are these still considered viable remedies that can slow progression? Does anyone have a history of using these for more than a short period of time? If so how do you feel the disease is progressing?

A lot of these gain hype for a while and then fade away with seemingly no follow-up research.

Wow! That’s impressive. Any negative side effects? May I ask where you’re located? Very difficult to get it in the US.

yes, just ramping up the dose so nothing to report yet. The studies require a very high dose for 6 months to a year.

He’s been on it just over a month and just increased to 225 mg. If he continues to tolerate it, we’ll keep going up! I’m hoping to get him at least to 525mg but that’s half the trial doses.

Yes iam again, I was using it didnt feel any benefit however I started again as I noticed That i was getting worse iam now On 3x 500 to 3x550mg i do not know if it is a placebo effect but iam feeling beter (more energie).

Interesting to see that Ambroxol is going into a phase 3 trial - I believe led in the UK, after positive phase 2 results.

Hubby has been taking it since it was first discussed. He takes 300X2/D = 600mg. I have been ordering it from Amazonde (Germany). At times it is unavailable in the amount I order, but I order what I can get. If you have an Amazon account, you can use your credentials on any Amazon location, England, Germany, etc.

Hard to tell. Didn't take it for a couple of days (out of supply) and had mild cognitive decline, who knows! At least his oxygen remains 99-100 every day!
