So one of the doctors replied to my query and was very nice and wise. This is what they told me:
1. Do not worry those probably not happened things, release yourself. Your mind is very important to your health, please be relax.
2. Currently, butyrate is in the preliminary study stage, these data just from animal models, and as you can see, very different conclusions from different study groups. Thus, there is a long distance to clinical application, so, please do not take this data too seriously.
3. Constructively, to my knowledge, although I am not an expert, meditation is a very good method to improve body health, as you know, neuro-endocrine-immunology is the most powerful axis for our healthy states, meditation has been proved improve this axis efficiently. I suggest you read some literature on meditation and ask for help from meditation experts. I believe that will be even helpful to your current REM disorder.
