Extreme leg weakness

Has anyone experienced leg weakness so bad you’re limping? My leg on my effected side has gotten much worse over the last month. My MDS suggested going from a total of 2 C/L per day to 3, which I did on Thursday. No improvement so far. Going to get a script for PT, but I’m open to suggestions about what to do. TIA.

Hi there I have had trouble with extreme weakness in the muscles in the front of my thighs. I now take my first dose and wait 2hours for breakfast and make sure that I do not eat a meal and take tablets at the same time. Have increased each dose to two tablets and will be taking medication to increase the efficiency of the tablets I do take.

Sorry for the delayed reply. Can you clarify which medications you are referring to? Thanks.

Hi there. Lol. Should have said. I take Madapor at the moment. Increased to 8 capsules a day and in a while I will be taking something which will extend the effect of the tablets. ( I can’t remember the name of them at the moment)

Thanks. I don’t know anything about Madopar.

I was taking Sinimet until the pharmacy could not get a regular supply.

Well, that sucks. Can’t imagine not being able to get Sinemet.

Hi there. It was a scary time. It went on for months. Sometimes I had to take my prescription around different pharmacies to try and get it filled as the one attached to the doctors surgery was having difficulty. Since the lockdown started there has not been any problem. I was fully expecting the situation to get worse but it hasn’t.

I tend to limp around the house. Out hiking it can be a chore getting started but by the end of an hour I move almost normally. I highly recommend outdoor exercise that makes use of your legs.

Thanks. That’s a few weeks away weatherwise.
