Baldness cure is getting priority than other diseases (PD included) as the number of people going bald is greater than those getting PD. Thus baldness cure present better business case compared to PD.

I can not believe that people can get that upset about being bald. Wear a hat.

The girls like more the men with hair. So is their fault.

It's men's fault for being interested in the attention of girls instead of that of women.

I see no support for your claims. Are they your opinion or fact?

According to my observation, every 9th or 10th person is bald

With approximately 320 million people in the U.S., and at least 20% of them under the age of 30 in 2014, that means that over 1 in 5 Americans are losing their hair, with men representing a higher percentage of hair loss victims. The likelihood that men suffer hair loss significantly increases with age.

Of course all people throughout the world may dislike *going bald but it seems a bit ethnocentric to only mention the people from the US as if that can be generalised to the rest of the world, especially as this was Japanese research. The Riken Institute does not appear to be giving priority to curing baldness over other diseases including PD. I believe this is how you are interpreting it but it is not based on any evidence.

I also point out that baldness is a mere annoyance, whereas Parkinson's can be a bit more than that.

The thing with going bald is your head has to have a good shape to look good bald , not all dudes have that consideration. I've been shaving my head bald for the last 10 years, I'd say Im naturally bald now but even with hair I still wanted the stuff off my noggin.

Blokes need to own what's going on upstairs and just embrace what's happening.... or wear a hair piece

Hmmmm. This is really a tough one. Would I rather be bald or have Parkinson's Disease? I'll have to get back to you on this one. I need time to think about it.

I thought the thread was that PD was getting less attention than baldness research. I thought it was a leap to claim this just because a Japanese research institute reported some research on baldness! Opinions v Facts.
