The first article (by Shinya Yamanaka) contains a link to the Trial Record (in Japanese and English) of the Kyoto University iPSC trial. The Trial Record gives the Recruitment Status of this trial as "suspended", but doesn't give the reason (i.e. COVID-19 or something else).
