My bladder seems ok during the day but am awakened 4-5 times at night with urgent need to pee and am exhausted in the a.m. Doctor has prescribed Oxybutnin. Has anyone else used it?

Oxybutynin fo nocturia
I used it with no bad side effects, but I don't think it helped all that much. I stopped taking it.
My neurologist suggested that I try Atropine 1% eye drops, taking one drop under my tongue once or twice a day. It didn't stop the drooling, but it did help - more than the oxybutynin. Unfortunately, it is an eyedrop medication, so no effort was made to make it taste good, and it is really awful. And I do mean awful, I couldn't tolerate it. You might want to try it, maybe you're better at enduring the taste than I was.
I have been taking 3mg of melatonin before bed every night for the last month. I am no longer getting up at 4 a.m. to go to the bathroom. I usually sleep through till 7 a.m. now. I don't know if it is the Melatonin or something else. I usually get in bed pretty late like 11 or 12 a.m. Sometimes later. I just thought I would mention this.
