Regarding Thiamine injections and Dr Constantini's work: My husband has been taking a low dose injection for over 18 months. Seemingly it is not as effective anymore. Can anyone relate, and also is there anyone taking questions since Dr C has been ill. I am very out of touch.

Thiamine injection changes
Hi, check out posts from chartist, he has accumulated a wealth of info on B1, and you'll find what you're looking for...or ask him to direct you to the post.
can u pls remind me how to do a search for posts from chartist?
Not exactly sure, but maybe start here: healthunlocked.com/user/cha...
Couple of ways, but try this first....look above your post for the word chat, hit chat then look right for the word compose...then after the word to, write chartist,then ask him to direct you. If this dosent work let me know..There are more sophisticated ways, but unfortunately I'm tech illiterate :}

the wonders of the human mind! if there was a smiley face icon I would it at the end of this reply
Is your husband taking magnesium? If not, take the supplement (l-threonate crosses the bbb) since it is a required cofactor for thiamine. Also a good idea to add a good methyl b complex.
used to do the mag. can only do liquids and crushables or capsules that open now.. will need to search
also methy??
B1 can't do work on its own. It needs other B vitamins and minerals to get the cycle going. You can open the magnesium capsules and add to food.
A good methyl B complex is Pure Encapsulations B-Complex Plus.
thank.u
You're welcome. Be sure to have him take the b-complex (the included B6) away from any P-meds. Also be sure to check his zinc status and supplement if you suspect possible deficiency.
are doing bloodwork in a week or so thank u for zinc reminder. any other ones I should ask Dr for besides Magnesium, B1 and D?
I wouldn't bother with a serum test of B1 - it would be a waste of money. The typical bloodwork doesn't correlate with B1 deficiency especially in your brain. Dr. Derrick Lonsdale has noticed this in many of his patients and no lab in the US currently tests for the true deficiency.

I would instead check the homocysteine - may show a correlation to B6, B9, or B12 deficiency.
is that PURE meaning the brand name?
"Pure Encapsulations" is the brand name.
Boyce,
My husband and I use liquid magnesium (Dr. Dean's). It's one of the best magnesium we have tried. Of course, he also takes Magnesium Threonate in capsules.
you can cantact Dr Roberto Fancellu at roberto.fancellu@hsanmartino.it
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH!!!
Boyce3600,
Somehow, I had missed these comments above. Sorry for the delay, but here is a B-1 link that will offer a lot of information and useful links.

I can no longer access that post to update it as I let go of that forum ID from when I was known as "easilly". As you can see I was not able to update the information about Dr. Costantini passing from Covid-19 this year.

Will dr. Roberto provide email consultation like Dr. Constantini?
I emailed Dr. Constantini even after knowing of his unfortunate demise, hoping someone else might pickup from where he left off. The email bounced due to mailbox being over quota...
