Thiamine dosage need advice please

In 2018 I corresponded with Dr Constantini and he suggested I start taking thiamine 1 gram. I weigh 50 kilos. Unfortunately things got in the way and I didn't start his protocol. About 2 months ago I think, Despe mentioned using dissolve tablets so I ordered and received B1 100mg. I am not sure now how much I should be taking which would give me the equivalent of 1 gram that Dr C. said I should take. I hope I have made myself clear. I can't find Despe's post and would be grateful for some advice. Thanks

Maybe you already know this but just in case you do not, 10 x 100 mg = 1 g.

Make sure it is Thiamine HCL. I bought Solgar 500 mg pills from amazon and take two pills once at day around 2pm after lunch. Actually I chew them. You need 10. You can try 5 in the morning and 5 after lunch.

They are not sublingual, they are regular tablets and chew them with a small piece of dark chocolate plus water. Their taste is not bad. I buy them from amazon.

It's my understanding that you don't need to take so much of the disolvable thiamine as the B1 gets absorbed into the bloodstream via the mouth so you're not compensating for the effect of your stomach acid.

You should be able to do a search for Despe and then find her posts/replies.

"Despe mentioned using dissolve tablets so I ordered and received B1 100mg."

It wasn't me (Despe). :)

There are 1000 milligrams (mg) in 1 gram. ... 100 mg of B1 would calculate by 100*10 = 1000, 1 gram. You will need to take 10 100mg B1 tablets to equal 1 gram (1000 mg)
