Thiamine HCL vs MonoNitrate?

Any opinions on which of these two water soluble forms of Thiamine is best for oral HDT. I’ve read that MonoNitrate does not absorb water as readily in powder form, while HCL is more stable when in solution.

Thanks- JG

Hcl is the one that works best

The mononitrate form is fat-soluble rather than water-soluble

Thiamine mononitrate is water- soluble.

But Thiamin HCI works much better and it’s Dr Costantini’s recommendation.

Thanks Kia, PB. I’ll stay with the HCl. One thing, the HCl bulk powder I had went bad, granted it was probably a year old. Might be best stored in freezer.

Hi reedboat2, What do you mean it went bad?

Thiamine occurs naturally in food. Thiamine mononitrate, the synthetic version added to food, does not. And thiamine mononitrate can cause liver and kidney problems. It's nearly impossible to flush out of the body because it accumulates in fat cells.
