Sensitivity in teeth

I am 56 and a PD patient for last three years. I am on rasagellin 1 mg one tablet and pramirol SR 0.52 six tablets a day. Recently my teeth have become sensitive and even the toothpaste recommended for sensitive teeth gives me a shock while brushing my teeth.

Is this a side effect of above medicines?

Has anyone observed this? Pl give a feedback

On occasion that I have sensitive teeth I do not relate it to Parkinson's

Mercury can cause sensitive teeth/gums; so can an iodine overdose. It's a possible connection between a toxin and PD. Or, it's a matter of receding gums from getting older.

I’m similar age and length of diagnosis. Have not had this problem but I do clench my jaw at night. Maybe you do this? I’d see a dentist.

possible age related demyelination or thinning of enamel as well as other possibilities. We have a retired dentist reading, maybe he\she will comment.
