Loss of energy.

I have found that my energy levels are very low at the moment, I am having trouble getting motivated and quite often very fatigued during the day. Has anyone got any suggestions on what I could take to relieve theses symptoms.

If a physical issue (not depression), CoQ10, Vitamin D, B Vitamins, exercise, check thyroid, and make sure iodine intake is adequate.

Try taking Hardy’s daily essential nutrients which have a lot of useful compounds in them, and horny goat weed for motivation.

Plus fish oil, ubiquinol.

I wish Hardy’s had a way to compensate you for your relentless and passionate marketing of this already expensive vitamin

Hey, it made my husband feel better than any other thing he has tried (and there have been a lot of products) and I’d like others to be helped too. I assure you I am not paid or discounted in any way by them and I doubt they even know I am recommending it to anyone. Its not any more expensive than taking all the individual components and it’s certainly much easier.

I am experiencing similar fatigue. Ironically, I am sleeping better, more hours at night, averaging 7 hours and waking up only twice. I take Vit B complex, B12, C, D, E, CoQ10, and magnesium. I too am at a loss and open to suggestions. No med changes.

You could try nascent iodine drops and glutathion.

I believe I got them both on eBay one of them is made by pure Therapeutics it's called glutathione gold. The iodine is made by the Heritage store and its Nascent iodine collodial.

Hi PDGal4,

I suppose it is the magnesium that makes you sleep, please confirm,or are you taking any sleeping pills as well? I was previously on mirtazapine 7.5mg for sleep ,which worked for about 8 months,it stopped working after I increased my c/l dose just for the purpose of exercise. I am also trying 7.5mg melatonin with valerian root one capsule at night.I usually get 5 to 5 & 1/2 hrs fragmented sleep,by waking up to pee. I think it is my lack of sleeping well enough ,that is causing the fatigue and lack of motivation. Please let me know what makes you sleep for 7 hrs. I have an option of increasing the mirtazapine according to my MDS,but I don't want to do that yet. Kindly reply please.

I honestly don't know what makes me sleep better. I used to average 5. Then 6; 7 has been a real gift. I take no sleeping pills. After going through different magnesium supplements, I now take Rhythm (brand) triple calm magnesium. It has magnesium taurate (which is the form my GP told me to take), magnesium glycinate, and magnesium malate (I am unfamiliar with those 2). Capsules are 150 mg each and I take 2 every morning, the recommended dose on the bottle. Easier to swallow than some of the horse pill magnesium products I've had in the past. I buy at Amazon.

The other change I made, just remembering, is I've been using a topical CBD lotion I buy from Stirling online. I think it's stirlingcbdoil.com. I buy the 400 mg mentholated and apply it everywhere at bedtime, especially calf, feet, neck, shoulders, upper arms and lower arms and hands. Part of what wakes me up is pain and general body discomfort where I have to get up and move. Internal tremors, maybe? I've been using this lotion 3-4 months now, I think. They have a 1000 mg now but the 400 mg seems to be doing the trick. They offer a 30% discount if you have a disability or over age -- can't recall if 62 or 65.

I tried oral CBD oil--did nothing for me, melatonin either. The second made me sleepy but didn't allow me to sleep any longer. Hope this helps.

Hi PDGal14.

I will try both the Magnesium taurate and CBD oil/lotion. Thanks for your support.

Let me know if it helps. But give it time. A few months.

It’s mirtazapine that caused my husbands apathy.

Someone on this forum had good results raising energy level using herb Epimedium commonly called 'Horny Goat Weed" extract containing 10% icariin which might be neuroprotective:

Personally have not tried it yet just started looking into it.

That was my husband. I noticed it in an expensive product which they said was like a chemical stem cell therapy, and since he was taking all the other things in it except icariin I decided to try it on him too! He has no interest in researching things himself but trusts me to research and try things on him so he didn’t know he was taking anything new but it had a noticeable effect. Perhaps it needs the other compounds he is taking too to be effective, and I’m not sure it will work for other people but it’s helped him with apathy.

Thank you LAJ - it would be good if more people tried it and shared results.

Hi

I have had good luck with caffeine.

Chameleon Cold Brew has 230 mg, but is expensive ($3.99 for a 10 oz bottle).

200 mg caffeine tablets work just as well and are a lot cheaper...

I currently take it at 3 pm and endeavor to stay awake until 9 pm...
