I was diagnosed with PD 6 years ago. I now find that I can’t consistently double click a computer mouse. Is anyone aware of any way around this?

I haven’t been able to use the mouse comfortably for quite a long time and simply use the controls on the laptop now.

Windows 10 let's you change the mouse settings including the double click speed. I had to slow it right down for my dad

There is also setting called "sticky keys" which accommodates people like us.

When I was no longer able to control the mouse I went to voice recognition software called Dragon professional ($150) by Nuance. It allows you to do everything with your voice that you would otherwise do with the keyboard and mouse. It's very cool.

One of my first symptoms. Get a pen pad instead. Works great
