Try using a Trackball mouse you may well find you have more control with involuntary clicks. Tony xx

I use my thumb in stead of my index finger.

Just a bit of humor - just don't touch it. All day I have been adding letters too my wwords.. So I quit til my meds kick in. Adrain has a great answer.

When I do my computer asks me if I want to turn off something. I say no and try to have a lighter touch or log off :)

Hi,

My husband is giving me training in using the touch pad control which has been on all my work & leisure PCs for years. Because I started out out with a mouse I'm finding it very difficult but there are some simple, fun games (probably aimed at children) which make it less of a chore. I'm not sure what your problem is but I have 2:

1/ I hit 2 keys together (affected left side)

2/ my right hand (unaffected) has started to hit keys randomly as though one of the fingers is tired & just drops or skims the keyboard.

I did it all the time when still working use to laugh about it but i would have to take my hand off mouse. Now that im home i have a notebook so i don't have problem.

Try placing offending digit beside mouse not on top. I've tried warning it that it will lose computer time but it replied in a youthful defiance of clicking menu buttons to every left click of the mouse!

I'm glad I'm not alone. Sometimes I think i am nuts or a hypochondriac! My hand has a mind of it's own and is constantly clicking both sides of the mouse at once - not something I want to do it just happens!

when it gets annoying I just move my hand
