Cannabis on Motor Symptoms. Somebody have had significant relief? What about off periods?

I'm on the process of getting my medical license and would like to know about your experiences specifically on motor symptoms. I'm struggling very hard with the off-periods and the shuffling/freezing…..looking on cbd as an option to keep c/l at the lower as possible.... thanks!

CBD or THC? You dont need a license for CBD. I use both, CBD for anxiety and indica THC to sleep. Both work really well but I dont think either helps with my off times.

I was diagnosed about 10 years ago

Started with Sinemet, Azilect, Segeline

About 6 years ago returned to home state of Montana

cannabis became legal

dropped Azilect and segeline

added B1

tried cannabis only

tried pharmaceuticals only

I need both

as far as cannabis need both CBD and THC

Sativa in Morning

Indica in evening

check this out

dopedirectory.com/marijuana...

CBD vs THC is as much a legal issue as a medical issue

for us PDers its more about strain

most bud they sell is a hybrid that provides both CBD and THC

cannabis also helps with tremors

reduces amount of Sinemet I take

wake at 3am with tremors

a little Indica,

ZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Also Sativa helps motivate for exercise

When I get severe OFF/dystonia in my neck and torso during bad OFF times, Harley Sue strain (CBD only, no THC) is my quick rescue go-to. Three-four good tokes usually can stop the OFF/dystonia 'runaway train' and make the contractions relax within seconds (or at most 5-10 minutes) of the last toke vs at least 20-40+ minutes for addnl c-l, which I may not be able to swallow anyway. That's a pretty significant rescue effect, IMO, and works as long as there is somebody to light the jay and hold it where I can reach it.

T-Writer,

Your situation seems ideal for using a vape pen because the lighter is builtin and all you have to do is hold the small button down while drawing in the vape and then you merely release the button when you are finished with each draw. The vape only reaches a high enough temperature for the THC to be released, so in comparison to smoking a joint or a pipe, the vape is very smooth. No matches or lighter required and the vape pen is rechargeable and very convenient. The cartridges are a little pricey, but they last quite awhile under normal use and from what I have read, they are working to constantly improve the contents of the cartridges which previously was not completely known by patients what all was in those cartridges.

Hi Art, are you the same person referred to in posts re: Dr Costantini as Easilly? If so, is there a way to send you a message here privately? Thanks! :-)

I am the member formerly known as easilly on this forum. You can click on my icon of the B-1 capsule and it will take you to my profile page. In the large blue box, on the right side of the box, you will see a small white box with the word "Message" in it. click on that button and a new page will open and you can send me, "chartist", a chat message. I don't know exactly how private it is, but it is not visible to the rest of the forum.
