So is anybody else in this group hypothyroid? I'm learning about a thyroid connection to REM Sleep Behavior Disorder and interested in helpful supplements.

Anybody Else Hypothyroid?
Yes, I've been trying to get the full version of this recent piece: link.springer.com/article/1...
Well this is just lovely
Hypothyroidism is associated with obesity, hypercholesterolemia, anemia and altered cerebral blood flow which are associated with PD pathology. Herein we provide a comprehensive view on the association between PD and thyroid hormones regulation and dysregulations, hoping to provide new avenues towards targeted treatment of PD.
Let's find an answer. High Dose Thiamine is looking good lately.
My teenage son has been hypo thyroid recently, but tsh has come right again. He was refusing to get out of bed all day then racing to the gym, exercising ie weight training for a couple of hours then going back to bed. I think lack of activity might have caused the condition, or was it vice versa! Recently he has got back into more normal sleeping habits so I’m not sure if that fixed it. I do worry about him with his dad having PD as he seems hell bent on doing everything he can to break himself🥺. Vaping, drinking too much, over pushing his body weight training, eating junk food, not sleeping properly and sleeping in the day.
Yep, and not autoimmune. I have central hypothyroidism, caused from chemical poisoning with injury to my hypothalamus. (Merck Manual: Chronic cyanide poisoning-related hypothyroidism is due to disruption of iodide uptake by the follicular thyroid cell sodium-iodide symporter by thiocyanate, a metabolite in the detoxification of cyanide) I supplement with Armour thyroid. My thyroid gland has atrophied and I don't know if there is recovery from this. I have read research on chromium picolinate as being helpful.

Yes. Just starting NP thyroid. Really has helped my mood and am sleeping better. I am having less "acting out" dreams, but not sure I would credit that to the NP thyroid treatment. Thank you for the interesting post....
Hello yes I am. I have hashimotos but gland taken out 2012.
Yes, my husband has taken thyroid hormone for years. I'd read the Broda Barnes book which helped. We've both taken Armour, WP and NP thyroid. As the companies sold or changed their formula, we've had to switch around to get one that worked for us.
I have had an underachieve thyroid for many many years. It was stable with the same dose of levothyroxine until I was diagnosed with PD, and then my meds were unstable and changed several times.
