I am wondering if anyone uses CBD oil? If so, what strength, and where do you purchase it?? also, how does it help?? ie. anxiety, joint pain, tremors? My husband has Parkinson's and also a bad knee, (bone on bone), a bad back with ruptured disc, and last but not least diabetes.
Just not sure as to strength he should try and also want to purchase it from a reputable business that you can trust.
We appreciate anyone who would be willing to share with us.

In my opinion the only ones that work have to contain some THC. Not for a hallucinogen, but as a calming neurologic, and requires some experimenting with dosage based on amount of THC/user weight/diet/etc.
My very experienced and knowledgeable neurologist showed me in gesture what I must do to make CBD work well, he may not by law tell me with words. He tried to make it clear I must smoke Mary Jane! Some THC is necessary to make the CBD active. Best is a full-spectrum old school marijuana joint! I vape CBD, it's illegal in my country otherwise. But I know I'm not getting the best benefit until I get THC.
Charlottesweb.com great online company for purchase of CBD oils and tinctures. I would chat with a Rep online to explain your husband's needs. My husband used 500 mg twice per day for anxiety which he said helped but he was not consistent with taking it. Someone from the company can help with dosing and products.
Helloshill. Yes the CBD helps me with pain, brain fog and sleep especially from CW . I started out with
1/2 hemp extract infused gummies (delicious to let melt in mouth) and now 1 gummy 20 minutes before bed and tonight 2 gummies. Ask your physician . Your medical history especially heart and other conditions esp drug interactions. I tell no one but my husband who raises his eyebrow with " Go ahead I can't give advice. I purchased special of 3 gummies Sleep, Restore and Calm. For stronger pain especially from childhood of uncorrected scolosis. It is hemp extract with cannabis but has no highs or lows and I use sparingly at 3-4 drops 3 X daily. Hope this help! Lucy. From the Carolinas.
I have a bottle of liguid california hemp oil, cannabis sativa and have only used it for a rub. I have Fibro and hubby has Parkinson's. He takes 1 Sinemet Am and PM and now Resigiline in between. How much of the oil can I give him? He has poor balance, some freezing and tremors. What exactly would the Hemp oil help? M.A.
Balance issues require your doctor's careful monitoring and protocol. Please see a specialist if you feel you need a 2nd opinion. By all means follow your doctor's orders.
I used CBD for several years. It helped with my severe back and shoulder pain (motorcycles and horses), but I wasn't sure it was helping or hurting with my PD or cardiovascular issues. I have recently been trying a blend with 20% THC and 80% CBD. I still take Sinemet 25-100, but I recently quit taking Amantadine. I want to use all natural meds if possible and I'm trying to determine how the current meds are affecting me. I have suspected for some time that both broad components of marijuana, CBD and THC, are needed to maximum effectiveness. As someone stated above, THC helps because it acts as a "calming neurologic." That sounds very academic and it's probably spot on. I have come to think that a small amount of THC helps due to the "synergistic effect," which simply means that together, they both work better than either one working alone.
