Annual neurological check

This morning I made the annual neurological check from my PD diagnosis of May 2018. The therapy was 2 tablet Sinemet 100+25 mg. per day. Compared to the previous control, has been confirmed the substantial stability of the general situation. Pull test ok, cognitive tests ok, engine tests ok, balance ok. Current therapy again confirmed. MDS-UPDRSIII: 13. I told to the neurologist that I use supplements and that I was able to reduce my Levodopa by 50%. He disagrees with the reduction of Levodopa but agrees on the use of supplements if they benefit. Adjuvant therapy:

-Vinpocetina 10 mg. 3 times a day

-Mannitolo 20 gr.

- Complex Vit.B

- Hericium 10 drops 3 times a day

-Intermittent fasting

- Mediterranean diet.

Exercise: Nordic Walking, bike, treadmill - alternating.

Congratulations !

May I ask you which IF method you adopted ?

Mannitol seems a high dose - even though it's not off scale. Did you get it from Clinicrowd ?

Never heard of hericium before - sounds like a radioactive element ;-)

Thanks Xenos, my Mannitol dosage is not high. The dosage for adults is between 10 gr. and 30 gr.I buy it directly at the pharmacy and it is produced by an italian company from Alessandria in the Piemonte region. Hericium is a fungus useful for gastrointestinal well-being.

Thanks for posting! All these different, and to me, novel, approaches to learn about, will be fun finding out! Question is, of course, how is it all working out for you.
