How much C/day? And kind of C? I am taking C daily in multivitamin ,, but only at 100mg. My guess is that it would be much higher?

Dr. Mercola recommends liposomal vitamin C. I have never tried it.

Hi Icequeenq10, the abstract says they gave the mice 4 times as much ascorbic acid as L-dopa: "For this purpose, was studied blood isolated from healthy mice after i.p. treatment with L-dopa (100 mg/kg). The groups with combining therapy were pre-treated first with Ascorbic acid (400 mg/kg), Rose oil (400 mg/kg)." So, my guess is you will probably want to try the same 4 to 1 ratio for humans. For example, if you are taking 3 tabs of 25/100 C/L , you will want to take 4 X 300 mg = 1.2 g of ascorbic acid daily.

Thanks, make sense. Linus C Pauling had a really good side on vitamins and especially vitamin C. Haven't been out in a while so I hope it's still there.

Soo... I'm taking Parcopa 5xday - 25-250, good thing excess is excreted by the kidneys. Thank you for the great information ~
