Perhaps CBT might be an option for Parkinson's disease also. Read this:

Doesnt the NHS already provide this for PwP access through the GP?
I don't know, Hikoi. I am in the USA. But I find the holistic, behavioral approach intriguing. It just goes to show that with adequate mind control and behavioral changes, healing is possible. Maybe that's a hope for Parkinson's. If you're able to access NHS resources, you might benefit. I am searching for a CBT trained psychiatrist here.
I have heard that CBT is used by the NHS as it is measurable compared to other therapeutic interventions. So it may not be superior but the powers that be like it. Mind control and behaviour changes may bring about healing? I dont know it just depends what healing means I guess. ( Im not in the UK either but have experience of their system. )
You are more likely to find a psychologist trained in CBT than a psychiatrist.
