Has anyone tried using Gocovri? My doctor has prescribed it and I will begin using it as soon as my insurance approves it. I will take 1 tablet at bedtime. Just wondering if anybody has experience with it?

This is the new extended release amantadine. I use the regular amantadine and find that to be fine. When I asked my neurologist about the new extended release we looked up what it would cost a month and it was over $2000.

It's very $$$$..I was told $58 per pill. YIKES but good to know they have a plan for $20 a month if you have private insurance. Medicare and Medicaid will not cover this medicine and won't qualify for the $20/month price. I guess this is one time I'm happy I have private insurance.

Go to gocovri.com and see if they give financial assistance. You may qualify for lower copay or even free meds
