Old or new drug?

I find a medication called "Benztropine". Has anyone used or are currently using this med. Please LMK.

Also called cogentin it os an old drug very good for tremor

Never used it myself. C/L works well for my tremor

Anticholinergic. I took for a week and my short term memory was affected, so i stopped.

Iw as on Benzropine for several months and had bad side effects.I had several falls and was very forgetful and was falling asleep at 7.30 at night. Once I stopped the benztropine these symptoms were gone. I read the side effects medication pamphlet and realized that it was this medication that was causing it. I thought bad memory ,falling and sleepiness was the PD getting worse.I hate to think what it would have been like if i had stayed on it. I know falls can be part of PD but prior to taking benztopine my walking was fine.
