4- You can try cbd oil as well for anxiety and tremors
5- One Question : Did your father use only Kemadrin for the first 10 years and nothing else? What are the main symptoms and how Kemadrin helped? How is he doing now and to how much extent Sinemet is helpful
Thanks for your feedback & info. I would search all of them which you mentioned.
Yup he only took kemadrin 5 mg in first 10 years. It helps him in decreasing muscle's stiffness and tremor.
He is having tremor in his both hands and feet but head is stable.
Now he takes sinemet 25 mg and kemadrin 5 mg daily at 10 am. At night lexotanil for sleep. As now he is in advance stage so medicines slowly react ; about 1.5 hours after taking and then he remains in steady condition for 4 hours. My father wants to tolerate this disease as possible as he can because he knows about the side effects of medication. I want to add natural remedy to minimize the side effects.
Here is a link for the HDT information you will need including all pertinent links which should answer almost any questions you may have regarding HDT.

Any other useful info would be appreciated
many thanks

My regimen:
The positives: no bradykinesia, I cut my food with a knife, no button difficulties, brush my teeth now w/o needing elect brush, more strength. Getting in and out of bed, turning over is easier. No more constipation. Parkinson's progression stopped. Suppressed all motor and non-motor symptoms...
Entering my 7th year post diagnosis and have not fallen, not once, to the surprise of my neuro. Was seeing neuro every 6th month, last visit he set app one year. He said if needed we could do some changes earlier. He said my condition can change in as little time as one week.
New schedule, now I follow this regimen:
3 x day C/L 50-200 ER : 8 am, 2 pm, 8 pm. Because it is ER, I take with or w/o food.
2 x day (8 am 2g, and 2 pm 2g) Vitacost vitamin B1 (as thiamine HCL) 500mg, easy swallow capsules
B1 Thiamine therapy reference / stop progression, suppress motor and non-motor symptoms:
(Thiamine HCL is oral substitute to injecting B1) 2 x day (morning 2g and at lunch 2g)
Doctor Costantini strategy that I find helpful "thiamine hcl stops the progression forever...".
Hi naveedahsan. I was diagnosed in 1992, after having started getting symptoms in 1963. I took Sinemet and Symmetrel for two years, with no improvement in my condition. I then changed the medication in 1994 to Selegiline and started to do fast walking every second day.
Within 4 months I started to notice an improvement in my condition. My time for walking one kilometre in 1994 was over 10.5 minutes. After only four months it had improved to less than nine minutes. It continued to get better until I got it down to less than six and three quarter minutes. In 2002 I was able to stop taking any Pd medication and have not seen my neurologist since 2003.
I believe that fast walking produces a natural protein in the brain called GDNF, (Glial Derived Neurotrophic Factor), which repairs the damaged brain cells. So, we have our own repair kit for Pd. It is a pity that we are not told that.
