That depend where you live, in Germany no prescription, in U.S. you need a prescription like me in Italy.

I self inject 1ml B12 once a week. Benefits are that I keep my levels up; I don't notice a quantifiable difference. I also take B1 shots twice a week.

I apologize Steven. I misread your post. I thought it was B12 you were interested in. I looked again and saw it was B1. Art (easilly) has an entire post dedicated to sourcing B1/thiamine.
