This is core stuff. Changing, and maintaining the microbiome involves stocking it, feeding it, and maintaining the environment. A good microbiome produces multiple benefits, one of which is SCFA production. The first article affirms my wariness of gluten avoidance and keto, although I recognise both appear to work to an extent for many people. Whole wheat and fruits are valuable elements in the prebiotic mix. My focus is to get the best possible microbiome first, and maybe investigate other stuff afterwards. And specifically to attempt to have a microbiome which would be in the "non-pwp" category.
Can you take sodium butyrate supplements? I read a post by an individual who said butyrate supplements completely eliminated his tremors in a month. Wondering if anyone else experienced benefits from butyrate.
