He claims to have achieved a lot of improvement. I was curious whether it is true
Is the guy operating OUT-THINKING PARKINS... - Cure Parkinson's
Is the guy operating OUT-THINKING PARKINSON'S genuine?
I think he is. I looked at his stuff along time ago.
I think he is sincere, and it may be possible that he has some good ideas, but his thesis that Parkinson's is fear made manifest is not correct in my opinion.
He sounds legit to me. Why do u doubt it? He’s got some interesting stuff on his website
He’s something of a geek but passionate and sincere.
You crack me up Jeeves! Reminds me of the classic 'wats this Dave like?' 'bit of a knob but he makes a mean curry'
The rate of progress of Parkinsons varies enormously. The lucky people who have slow progress, or even remissions often think that whatever treatment or regime they were following, caused the effect.
I am lucky, after 18 months since diagnosis, I am improving though still on meds. It is luck.
A fervent belief, however sincerely held, is not proof.
What meds & supplements do you take and do you exercise?
I am on Prolopa, which is the Canadian version of Madopar
I take NO supplements of any kind.
No I don;t exercise, I am recovering from an ankle joint replacement, but I do not do formal exercise.
If I had been taking some herb, or vitamin, I would probably be promoting them vigorously
I've checked out his videos.... there's nothing that cannot be acted out.
ie he should demonstrate irrefutable proof these are not acts. Maybe reveal/show your datscan before improvement and datscan after improvement. Or (if the datscan thing is not possible) demonstrate your physical and mental improvement (before and after) under the supervision of a 3rd party professional pd therapist
If anything can be acted out, it's his thing to prove it is not. Not for me to manufacture blind belief or keep speculating
People can legitimately validate themselves in a self assessment, self observation way, to personally note progression or lack of it (we all do that everyday)
But someone validating themselves, as a healing principle to sell, with no independent verification, is a non-starter for me
He is genuine..he uses himself as a guinea pig for all sorts of different treatments.follows up on others ideas. ..to my knowledge he doesn't promote anything he hasn't tried himself..He is not a doctor per sey ie md but has a doctorate in science I believe.
Read this particular article and tell me if he is genuine or not: ‘My hospitalization with Parkinson’s Disease’.
It is a cautionary tale and here he bears his soul
