A TV programme a few days ago investigated the use of curcumin.
It found scientific proof that the Curvumin as a powder worked at cellular levels but that the tablets didn’t .They didn’t know why there should be a difference
It is a UK prog called ‘Trust me I’m a Doctor’ It is one of a series.

Thanks for the info. I try to use it in cooking each week but probably need to ingest much more to be effective. I'll try to find the "Trust Me I'm a Doctor" series. Imagine there are some interesting episodes.

I had a quick watch. It's on BBC Iplayer for those in the UK. I am sure it will make it overseas at some stage. To summarize the powder reduced DNA methylation which may be beneficial for cancer and depression. They speculated it may be that taking it with foods -specifically cooking with fats helped with absorption.
