I have just started taking mucuna pruriens powder to bridge the ‘off’ periods between doses of Sinemet. Taking C/L 25/100 every 4 hours I am experiencing symptoms after 3 hours or so. My question is: Does high-protein food adversely affect the absorption of mucuna pruriens in the same way as it does Sinemet? Thanks, everyone!

Yes high protein foods affect the absorption of mucuna. I feel nausea and like I'm going to pass out if I eat protein with mucuna
Yes it does... and Vit B6 too..
Thank you for your replies. I know now that I have to plan my meal and Vit. B Complex times around both the Sinemet and mucuna pruriens. Having been taking MC for a number of days now, I do feel that it works faster than Sinemet but gives me a little nausea when taken on empty stomach.
