I have heard many positive things about Mannitol so I tried it. I took 1/2 tsp 2x a day for 2 days and had stomach upset so I stopped. If I cut back to 1/4tsp do u think it would help. Any one had same problem. I watched a webinar yesterday on Mannitol and it sounds promising. Thank you.

Hi there

Have you been on the Clinicrowd website? Once you go through the questions they give suggested dosages mainly based on weight. Mine works out at approx 1tsp a day. I have worked out that I need to split it am and pm to avoid wind etc and my gut now seems to be balanced after a rocky start! I wouldn't want to take more though.

Only been taking it 2.5 weeks though so can't comment on its effectiveness!

when i first started taking mannitol, i got stomach cramps, so i cut the amount down, and then after about a week, i started increasing it, and havent had any problems since. i am taking 1 tsp 3x/day. i weigh about 100#. i have gas, but no cramping or stomach issues.
