RoyProp, is thiamine hcl and allithiame the same thing? I have been taking Benfotiamine 450mg day for 6 weeks and noticed improvement. Should I not take it?
Roy, didnt our good doctor recommend reducing the dose if you dont get the desired result? Why not try going down to 3g first? Or wait the full 2 months. Its been about 3 or 4 weeks, right?
I have experienced 7 weeks sustained good to great results.
10 weeks at 4g then? Sorry i thought we started around the same time. Im at day 27. Fair results for me. Staying patient and hoping for more.
My progress includes abscense of leg tremor and less leg muscle spasm pain, improving handwriting, diminishing morning shakiness. Still room for improvement.
Interesting to hear...., I'm now in my thirth week of Thiamine HCL from Solgar (arrived well from U.S. in Switzerland!).
I'm taking now about 2 Gramms (4x 500 mg Tablets), but spread out over the day (also in the evening), I hope that is not a problem...?
How should/can I now increase to 3 gramms?? Because I notice not yet anything (symptoms are mainly rigidity right thoracic and shoulder, and handwriting).
But I have to say : last Sunday I've swum 3 x 200m crawl (what is a success for me, compared with the last months)(but not compared with two years ago).
3 times Sinemet a day IR (100mg) and a lot of mucuna.
In a former post you said, you are still working ?? What kind of work you do ?
Hi Janvan! If youre tolerating thiamine well i would say go ahead and start the full 4g per day right away. To be fair, give it a full 2 months at full dose to really judge results.
I am a tech in interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization, where i assist physicians with image guided procedures. I work 40 to 55 hrs per week and take on-call for emergencies at night and weekends. It can be absolutely exhausting! But im handling it better and better.
It may be a problem. Doc recommended I dose at morning and lunch. See following same schedule Doc gave to member. "3 morning/3 lunch"

Hi Farec, I’m from Ireland and my wife has Msa, we contacted Dr costantini and he advised us to take 6 gr /day. 3 morning/3 lunch. We tried solar as well but out of stock, but got loose thiamine hcl from PureBulk. It dissolves quite easily. Hope this helps. Peter
hello Roy, I'm very happy with the gains you're having with the use of thiamine hcl, but I had no doubts, as Costantini told me the first times, the tremor is the most resistant symptom and you have to be patient. Thanks for trying, you are n.1.
Doc Costantini's recommend: “For your situation 1 intramuscular injection twice a week (or an oral dose of 4 grams each day, four tablets in the morning and four at lunch time) should bring to the complete regression of the symptoms in 1 or 2 months.”
Start/follow Doc Costantini's recommend: 2 x day (4 tablets am and lunch), Solgar Vitamin B1 (as thiamin HCL) 500mg, 100 tablets, from Amazon.
Notice he says dose in the a.m. and second dose at lunch time.
Thanks Roy prop for all your great information. I follow all your posts and watch with interest. My husbands B1 has just arrived! I lll keep you posted!
When he says complete regression of symptoms does that mean you can stop taking. meds and your walking and balance comes back to normal? Do you know if the success stories in his videos were off of meds?
ah ah ah thank I use google translate now . And how are you? Today i started to trascribe an interview of doc from youtube in english and and guess what I heard him to say: that earnings are forever and the PD will no longer fear. Let's hope

Hi in one of your posts you did mention that after 4 weeks of use no change other than resolving the constipation ( quote -"yet to discover " ) -- then somewhere at 7 weeks , you did mention about very good over all improvement -- does that mean other improvements started after 4 to 5 weeks of use ? I am in similar situation and looking forward for inspiration
Oops, since I hadn't realized that alithiamine equivalency was equal to 1 thiamine hcl injection, I just recently upped my dose of altithiamine from 50 mg xday to150 2xday to 200 2xday. I started gradually about 5 weeks ago.
Since most people would not have easy access to thiamine injections, an alternative is oral allithiamine. It achieves the same concentrations (and cellular activity) through oral administration as IV or IM thiamine Hcl. So, oral allithiamine at a dose of just 100mg twice a week should be able to replicate the results of this study.
Very disappointed as keen to try vitamin b1 and have tried to order solgar thiamine 500mg today but out of stock in uk and amazon.com won’t deliver it to UK. Very frustrating but thanks for your posts about it.
