B1 sublingual dose

I've been trying for months to find the illusive sweet spot using different derivatives of B1. I'm now trying sublingual and started at 100mg daily and gradually increased to where I am now at 2g per day. That seems like a lot to me but still I'm feeling nothing. What are typical doses of sublingual that anyone here has found to be helpful?

2 G sublingual daily is quite a bit.

What is it that you expect to feel that you're not feeling?

The benefit for me is improvement of symptoms. Allow 4 months to take effect.

I hoped for an improvement in my symptoms which I haven't seen. I'm only getting worse. It's been 8 months.

No improvement after 8 months says it's time to try something different. Cinnamon has helped me quite a bit: healthunlocked.com/cure-par...

Please read my post at the link for details. You can get it in capsules but it would take a couple twice daily. I stir it into my breakfast cereal, or yogurt, etc.

Have you read  Dap1948 's book? Have you joined her Facebook? facebook.com/groups/parkins...

My opinion if you are taking 2 grams of sublingual correctly you would have under your tongue a pill all day...

I don't believe her book addresses sublingual but I might be wrong. I don't do Facebook.

She started with sublingual and probably was one of the first to try it. Her success is with sulingual.

You say trying different derivatives of B1. Did you try TTFD and if so what was your experience. Mine was continual OD at yet another lower dose. My last OD was on 1/4 mg of a 5 mg tablet.

Yes, I've tried TTFD with no luck.

WOW.... I started with 50 mg of TTFD 2-1/2 years ago and overdosed in 10 days. I kept reducing dose and ODed every 2 - 4 weeks. 1.25 mg every other day is too much TTFD for me.

What is TTFD please?

ttfd (thiamine tetrahydrofurfuryl disulfide) a B1 derivative that crosses the BBB. Is not recommended in Dap's book or anywhere I have seen for PD.

Thank you.

2 g is too much. 25 mg a day is the recommended dose, at least initially. Get Daphne Bryan book on Parkinson and Vitamin b 1. It's all there.

Or it doesn't work for you. Doesn't for me.
