Anyone know if there is Rock Steady Boxing or something like it in the UK. I have a friend that would like some info.

I don't think there is yet, but you can Google: boxing for Parkinson's and it will bring up facilities similar. I think there's something similar on Sheffield.

To check RSB go to rocksteadyboxing.org

They are still training coaches every month so keep checking. There are now over 480 affiliates. You never know when one will pop up in your area.

I found boxing /kickboxing exercises on you tube , they are easy to do , the guy teaches you a number of different kicks and punches with a number system and demonstrations , there are several different ones depending on your level of skill and fitness and best of all it's free. Not nearly as good as going to a proper class and not designed especially for parkinsons but might be ok as a stopgap to have a go at home in the meantime.

Just go to youtube and search for Hasfit kickboxing, there are loads of other exercise workouts they do and can be run off an app on a tablet if easier.
