Hi all, I hear a lot about different types of exercise being good for reliebing PD symptoms and potentially slowing its progress. Any one know of classes in north London specifically: boxing, cycling, PD Warrior, LSVT Big etc. Any info on Tai chi and singing and dance lessons. Many thanks.

English Nations Ballet run dance classes although I think they do it in Kensington.

I went to Odstock Medical Centre in Salisbury hospital to be trained in the PD Warrior exercises but doing them at home on my own (half way through the suggested 10 week daily plan). I highly recommend it.

Hi, I have a close family member in N London with PD. We too would like a classes. How many others in N London? If there isn't an existing class, shall we start one? I think I could get a good teacher. My favoured location would be Tufnell Park or thereabouts. Other ideas?

I'm very near there so that would suit me just fine. Let's be proactive and organise it.

I am also looking for PD exercise classes, in northeast PA near Wilkes-Barre. I know about Rock Steady Boxing in Old Forge, but because I am still working and it is 45 to 50 minutes travel time, I can't make their schedule. I have learned the LSVT BIG exercises which I do every day. I am also seeking a PD support group. If anyone knows anything, please reply. In the meantime I will continue the regular classes at my gym. And can anyone recommend a good MDS neurologist in the area?
