Want to know why exercise is good for your brain and how exercise slows progression of PD? Check out this video of Michael Jakowec, PhD, a neuroscientist at USC at his recent presentation to PD Connect. Lots of really good neuroscience here and data that shows that exercise slows progression of PD and HOW it does that. It's extra incentive to get moving and keep moving and further proof that exercise is the BEST therapy available for treating PD and slowing progression.

Thanks for posting. I look forward to watching later today. I agree that exercise is the best thing for PwP’s! I’ve been with Rock Steady Boxing for 17 years and it’s the best thing yet! 🥊🥊
Thanks so much for sharing this. It's trite to say that exercise is good for you whether you have PD or not and most will think we'll what's new about this. Why should I watch this video ? You have described exactly why. This video is brilliant in its delivery and explanation. Straight talk that explains how us PWP have even greater reasons why we need to exercise with moderate to vigorous strrength or 150 minutes per week!!totally credible from a ranking expert and hopefully has changed my life. Thanks again.
Excellent thank you for posting. I learned a lot about the PD brain. This Dr is sincere and truly wants to help people heal with incremental lifestyle changes. It's worth watching and is much much more then a get off the couch and move type cutesy video
