Hi! Has any body used Artaine for dystonia? Husband's right foot was twisted and was falling CONSTANTLY. Had neurologist look at foot, she then perscribed Artaine - foot straightened out and he no longer falls! Just wanting to share this in case others are experiencing this?

I assume you are referring to Artane, one brand name for Trihexyphenidyl, an anticholinergic drug used to help suppress tremors and muscle stiffness. I've taken it since my diagnosis about three + years ago. It helps my symptoms, but it also has the side effect of producing sudden sleepiness or dizziness.

It also causes memory problems!
