With pd dementia January 2014. I am hoping that the information that he can give them, will help, into a possible cure in years to come. He is 71 and the dementia has come on quite quickly.

Well done!! It is always heartening to hear of people volunteering & especially when the carer can be involved. My husband is a rock. He became involved in 10 year medical trial with me when I was first diagnosed & that is will finish this year. He has also supported me through assessments for other trials (not always successful) & joined in a longitudinal observational trial at Cambridge.

What meds is he on? Did they try namenda?

My husband was going through this, I want to share what we did, I started him on coq10 liquid, also he was very low d3 vitamin, the dementia is no more. I also then put him on coconut oil slowly up to eight Tablespoons daily. Bless you and your hubby.

Coconut oil, does that include a nutritional ketogenic, no sugar, low carb diet? No dementia OK. How about reduction of tremors?

I merely was making a statement to what we have done I in no way am prescribing to anyone what anyone should do, I think we are open to share our own personal experience on this forum. I did say I was sharing our personal experience when I posted.
