Arthritis and Breast Pain?

Ladies, I have psoriatic arthritis and fibro. Can anyone with any form of arthritis tell me if you ever experience breast pain? Mine tend to hurt around menstration and ovulation, but they’ve been hurting a few weeks (& no I’m not pregnant), and I was wondering if this could be caused by the arthritis. Anyone else had anything similar?

Hi, amberly87, I have also experienced breast pain recently. I am much older than you and way past menopause. I have had RA for at least 10 years and only recently have been experiencing breast pain. I will be interested in what others respond.

I have had RA for 30 yeqrs, and certainly well past the menopause. As I've got older, I too get breast pain. It can get so bad, I feel as though I'm having a heart attack. I've been told it's Costochondritis. patient.info/health/chest-p....

Yes, it seems to be related to the overall level of inflammation in my body. It’s definitely not costochondritis in my case, it’s the breast tissue itself. On the positive side that makes it useful as a marker for effectiveness of my medication and dietary practices.
