I look forward to hearing opinions and comparing notes and life experiences with you all. I was diagnosed March 2016 with severe Rheumatoid arthritis . I also battle anxiety and depression. I am presently taking Rasuvo 20mg and Humira 40mg.

Love your smile!!! I was diagnosed in 2014, though I had RA for at least since 2012.

I overcame my severe anxiety and have been anxiety free for over 20 years. I hope your anxiety can be sorted out soon. RA is a walk in the park compared to anxiety.

Take care

Sue

What a beauty you are! I was diagnosed with RD a couple of years back. Look forward to chatting with you.

I was diagnosed with SVT a year or two before the RA . I was misdiagnosed with anxiety first, then as the SVT got worse and my nails turned blue I was misdiagnosed again with Asthma. Finally I had a severe attack and my heart rate went to 170 and they figured it out.

I say this to everyone I meet who battles Anxiety because SVT can often be hard to diagnose.

Welcome and take care!

Welcome to the group that we all wish we didn't belong to - ha ha. It is very hard to be diagnosed with this because people that have it understand and give you that "I'm so sorry" look, and those that don't know what it is will sometimes tell you to just change your diet and get some exercise. You will find the gamut here from young to old milder to severe an everywhere in between...

Welcome, welcome! Ah, yes...the not so great combination of anxiety and RA. I know it all to well. Throw in a healthy measure of PTSD into the mix as well. CaerylUSA covered the gamut well. I look forward to the conversations and hope I can contribute something helpful😁

Aren't you just beautiful! I was just diagnosed almost 3 months ago with RA. I also have fibromyalgia and Ehlers Danlos Syndrome. Keep smiling! I currently am on Leflunomide (Arava), methylprednisolone (thankfully being weaned off), Wellbutrin, Lyrica, and oxycodone for the really bad days. I was on methotrexate and it gave me some weird heart palpitations, scary stuff. This is a horrible disease and it affects some of the most beautiful and strongest people. Have a happy Thanksgiving!

I'm on methotrexate with folic acid 2 a day . Methotrexate once a week. It's really what works for you. I would just keep following up with blood tests making sure the drugs are working properly. Docs like to use certain drugs because they are popular .

So glad to hear you're getting good responses to treatment. You're beautiful. Hang in there. I've had RA for 50 + yrs. pain can be very hard to deal with and can cause anxiety and depression.
