Hi all, just had very unrewarding conversations with my rheumy, radiation oncologist AND humira staff. With stage 1A b.c., get off Humira as it AND radiation will affect immune system too harshly. I get that but rheumy said I probably will never get back on r.a. Meds as I will take aromitase inhibitors for five years. Oh and then she mentioned aromitase makes your joints hurt, too.

So, RA warriors, now what for pain and joint destruction. Already hiking my turmeric just a tad more than the squirt in the tea. Any and all ideas welcomed and love back at you. B

I am so sorry . be careful with the turmeric . Gave myself niacin flush with it. I use the capsules . Protect the liver with milk thistle too. Are you going to have Chemo?

Thanks hanks for answering. No, the tumor was 1.8 cm and had a score of 8 on the Onco dx test. So low chance of recurrence. So fortunate. And, the oncologist said no chemo, just radiation for a few weeks. Surprised me by saying I can go back to RA MEDS A FEW WEEKS AFTER RADIATION. So I am a little more upbeat today. I will watch the turmeric too. Thanks for the kind words!
