Is it possible to have Chrons disease with normal calprotein?

Yes. Have you been diagnosed with Crohn's? Are you on any medication for Crohn's? Your calprotectin is just an indication of inflammation in your gut. If you have none then the calprotectin can be low. However it it is only one indicator, you may still have Crohn's or Colitis, but it might be IBS or another non-inflammatory condition.

Its about my daughter. She have been having low back pain,nausea and elevated platelets for nearly a year. Her cal protein is normal. I just wonder if you can have Chrons with a normal calprotein?
