Poor you, I took one tablet of azothioprine 14 years ago and within 2 hours was seriously ill in hospital with acute pancreatitis. I was 3 hours away from dying it was so bad and Ive never been in so much pain, I was in hospital for a week. I wasdiagnosed with type 2 diabetes 2 years ago due to damage to my pancreas I believe, as I am not overweight and eat a healthy diet. Stay strong!

Hi and welcome, I'm not familiar with that medication but am familiar with being allergic to medication. Azathropine made me very ill. It's nice to see New people around on here because everyone needs support😁🙏🏻

Hi, I must admit your the first IBD person Iv heard of that has been prescribed Vibersi. I have come across it in IBS sufferers whose main symptoms are pain and diarrhoea. Iv had a quick research and it appears that there have been reported cases of pancreatitis in people who take vibersi. sorry I cant be of more help x
