Rectal bleeding with Crohn's

Hi havnt been on for a while as havnt been well. Was diagnosed with and treated for H Pylori over Christmas. Been having tummy problems since and now have rectal bleeding. Not sure if I should do anything about this. Any advice please

Hi, Yeah you can have rectal bleeding with crohns. It can be caused by disease it self in rectum or due to haemorrhoids and or fissures. dark blood indicates bleeding further up in the bowel. Do you know where in the bowel you have the disease? and do you have any other symptoms indicating a flare up?

If you had a bleeding ulcer in your stomach your faeces would be black and is termed maleana so its not due to the H.pylori
