Hi I am 74 years old, started the programme June lasts year, graduated in September. Check with your doctor and if alls well go for it. Read my blogs, P184 good luck. :-)

Hi Julie, check out the blogs and you will see age, weight and fitness is no barrier to this programme! I would say you only need to check with your doctor if you have a medical concern. Go for it, you won't be disappointed. Good luck

Welcome! I'm 53, was very unfit and had only done walking before, but have just 'graduated' through the programme. Go slow and steady and you should be fine - for netball you need to do short fast sprints, but for this you need to build stamina/endurance, and starting slowly gives joints time to adapt to the stresses.

I'm 63 next month. Started when I was 61 and graduated on my 62nd birthday last year, not having run for 46 years. So, No, 43 is definitely not too old to start running!!! Go for it. If you're playing netball regularly I wouldn't even bother with the doc; you're probably fit enough to start already!

I'm 43 and I graduated on New Year's Day. I dropped a dress size without dieting (from 14 to 12) and I'm on my way to dropping another size. I would thoroughly recommend this programme, it has changed my life. Go for it and let us know how you get on. You'll find plenty of support and encouragement from others here to help you along. Good luck.

Thanks very much, I hope it works for me too, the programme sounds really good in theory!

It's a fantastic programme. I went from struggling with the one minute runs in Week 1 to running for an hour only three months later.

I'm 48 and hadn't done a stroke of exercise in something like 20 years.
