Well done getting to week 5!! Its my understanding on rest days feel free to do activity such as biking, walking etc. Just no running.

Lucky you, what a beautiful climb! I agree though that it is not a total "rest" day. Crosstraining is always good but I suppose that it can tire you out, depending on the activity.

Well done reaching week 5 and Good luck with W5R2!

Great job, jucioj!! You are about at the halfway point!! You are doing great!! I agree with the ladies. My understanding is that you need to rest from running, but that other activities are alright. Myself, I think that you need to really beware of overdoing it. Your body needs the time to repair and recover from the work that it has been doing!! Good luck and Keep Running!!

Well done on getting W5R1 done. I did mine on Sunday and am planning W5R2 at lunchtime, so fingers crossed. I think the more running we do the more we want to be active so can't see it hurts to carry on with "normal" life while fitting the running in. If I feel tired I try to rest more but otherwise get on and do whatever.
