I'm on Wk7 and I'm finding the motivation is going - the music is dull....., the routes (park and surrounding streets) are dull. Ever since coming back from holiday I've got out of the routine one day run / one day rest.
BUT whilst on holiday I did manage to run in 30+ temperatures only to come back and run in pouring rain. I'm worried that once I graduate I will simply go back to the couch!
I'd be grateful for some top tips on how to keep going........

I agree with wilmacgh. It's fun to run to your own music; either a CD/collection of 'rocky tunes' on a shuffle on your mp3 player/smart phone and use a watch to time yourself (I found I had to adjust the length of my warm-up walks to make sure I started the run on an easy-to-remember number) or make your own playlist that you know lasts for 25 mins.
Then sign up for a 5K, or looking further ahead, a 10K race. I've just done so! I'm really motivated as I don't wish to struggle with the 10K in 7 weeks time.
